I also imagine the $50 version the dude/dude-ette made is also worth looking into if you like the free VST. (Realtime sample reverses can also create some serious magic too in my opinion when fed the right source audio and with the right pattern bank sequences) The other features(delay/stretch/crush/etc) IF tuned properly, used sparingly and combined with other automated effects could still be useful in even the most cutting-edge and experimental types of modern music I think.Ĭombine dblue glitch with some automation and multiple pattern banks, and use it sparingly.and I think it is still incredibly useful and can probably work as a replacement for whatever you can't afford at the moment. Its uses as a modern glitch plugin are not as useful as they once were, but it is still incredibly useful for Shuffle, Retrigger, Gate, Delay and Reverse in realtime without having to do too much. This old school free VST plugin (dblue glitch) will absolutely allow you to do some of that (and more) for free. (I googled the plugin you referenced) These kind of effects are a result of usually 3 basic things: What is wrong with what you found? Too expensive? (Those are all serious questions, I am trying to help, not being sarcastic, flippant or rude.) What do you mean by vocal chops? Like, an effect that will re-organize and retrigger the source sound in variable and random patterns?
